We spent 3 days a week recording at our friend Justin's house while his dad was at work in the summer of 2000. We were pretty disheartened after a hard drive crash lost us an entire alt-country album the previous winter so we were becoming increasingly disenchanted with the fallibility of digital home recording at the time. Half this record is 4tracked or live to stereo cassette. Sadly Daniel's beloved Electro Harmonix Memory Man analog delay pedal died shortly after making this album.

Daniel and I split songwriting more on this record than any other, the lyrics are mostly mine but more than half the instrumentals are Daniel's.
